My painting - Sigiri Apsara

                             sigiri apsara          This painting I have done is an excerpt from the Sigiriya paintings. Sigiriya paintings belong to the 5th century. At that time King Kashyapa ruled the kingdom. The theme of the Sigiriya artist was the beautiful image of Sukomala Lalanawan. The beauty of women is well expressed. These paintings are images of the upper body. The colors used are red, dark yellow, green, white and black.After color filling, the drawing is finished using a line.  I took this picture from the internet and painted it. It was then colored with a medium called banner ink. The painting itself is coated with polythene varnish for protection. Scholars have expressed various opinions about these Sigiriya paintings. Sigiriya paintings are a valuable resource to us. We must all commit to protecting it . ...

My first art exhibition - ''vinivida''

v i n i v i d a                The 'Vinivida' Art Exhibition 2018 was organized by our class teacher and students. For this we have created a wide range of art including paintings, mirrors, velvet designs, ceramics, glass paintings and masks. We worked day and night to create this. I added five paintings and a few other small creations to the exhibition.         We found a place to hold the exhibition and placed advertisements to make the public aware of it. When the due date arrived, the lamps were lit and the exhibition was opened to the public. A large number of people came to watch the exhibition and we received their praise. Students from several schools in the city were able to gain knowledge of various arts and crafts. And those who liked the designs bought them.           The art exhibition lasted for five days.
